I found a lot of the information in Lifelong Learners as common sense. Even though it is common sense it still had a lot of useful information especially habit 6: use technology to your advantage. We are living in a world where change happens everyday. In order for the Library staff to address these changes we have to learn the changes. We are lifelong learners weather we like it or not. The times have change and learning new technology will give you the edge and make Libraries staff more useful to our patron.
Accepting responsibility for our own learning is vital. Although learning new technology is challenging there are many options to learning these new technology. Avoiding to learn new things works to our own disadvantage.
Learning new things require having the right attitude. Learning is made a lot harder if we don’t have a positive attitude toward learning.
One more thing, the voice on the online tutorial is accessible that why it sounds that way.
